In the papermaking process, PSC´s paper grade CMC can be used as a sizing agent to increase the grammage, ink hold-out, wax coating efficiency, and smoothness of paper. When used as a water retention agent, PSC CMC can enhance strength of the paper and reduce porosity.
Additionally PSC CMC helps control the flow of colorant in the paper coloration process, which improves the viscosity condition of pulp and enhances the folding endurance of paper.
